Bristol has a brand new Creation Centre – a massive multiple use blank canvas ideal for: • Filming • Set building • Show research and development • Circus training • Theatre and circus performance • One off events The space is run by Bristol residents' The Invisible Circus www.invisiblecircus.co.uk who manage the 30,000ft cavernous space to develop their own work and also to provide a place for artists of all backgrounds and inspirations to come and make amazing things happen. The space is made up of 4 sub spaces The Book Barn A large indoor space with very multiple rigging points. Overall space size (x3 Bays) 60m x 70m Height 7m at apex 5.5 at lowest point The Barn Aerial Space Another large space with multiple rigging points and includes a dressing room 18m x 20m. Height 7.6m at apex 6.1m at lowest point The Jackdaw Hall A large indoor hall with rigging points. 23m x 14m by 5m high The Jackdaw Studio Has windows but can be completely blacked out for lighting, filming or AV use. 11m x 7.5m by 3m High Also on site is use of a communal kitchen, catering can be provided if necessary, hot showers and toilets. There is ample parking. We are sometimes able to offer very basic accommodation to artists traveling a long way to use the space, which is discussed on an individual basis The creation centre is based in the expansive Paintworks complex which is home to over 40 creative industries and is only 12 minutes walk from Temple Meads train station.
