| Is there a way of getting rid of the spammers on the message board. Tradebuzzing etc? |

WE can tidy up the Message Board as Admin - and we do try to keep an eye on it.
It helps to get a heads-up however - so email toby@circusarts.org.uk or info@circusarts.org.uk if there is something on the Message Board that you think is inappropriate.
We can also move items around which get put in the wrong part of the Message Board (rather than delete them) - e.g. adverts for agencies in the Circus Producers' Discussion Group.
Thanks |

We continue to prune inappropriate messages from the board, even those that simulate friendliness - a cheap trick by viral marketers.
If you feel that you have been unfairly removed, then we suggest you do not include advertising for electric goods, software and dubious medical supplies in your signature, as these remain open to our misunderstanding your intentions.
If you genuinely want to recommend a product as appropriate to specific circus workers, then please explain why you consider it useful.
Thank you for your time - and refer to the previous post if you find something inappropriate that we have missed. |

Due to organisational change we do not get to visit and assess/delete spam on the forums as routinely as we used to.
We will try to stay on top of it, but if something particularly annoys you then please alert Toby: toby@circusarts.org.uk - who can drop in and clean up. |

Quite a lot of what appeared to be spam posts have appeared in the last week or so - some are obvious, like selling Blackberries, etc - but others pretend to be genuine posts which just so happen to have advertising links in the signature.
It might appear intolerant of us, but such posts mostly get deleted.
If you want to use this forum - and the signature option to promote links you like - can you keep the links on relevant themes? Thanks. |
