Angela de Castro is the founder and artistic director of The Why Not Institute. She is a leading clown practitioner and actor, teacher and speaker. She is one of the six first Dream Time Fellows at Nesta (the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts) and award winner with the Arts Foundation. She has taught and directed many theatre and circus companies in the UK, Australia and Brasil, and has on-going relationships with a number of academic institutions and theatre groups. As well as touring the UK and internationally with the major contemporary physical theatre companies, she is also well known as a teacher of her clowning master class ‘How To Be A Stupid’..This workshop will be an introductoray workshop into Clowning, just a taste to give you the hunger to do the full course
Games and inclusivity for Circus Leaders

Games, inclusivity and teamwork is a special masterclass run by Peter Duncan from Circus Eruption which will will give participants who wish to teach circus a wide toolkit of Games and excercises to use with groups of all abilities. The course will cover various aspects of working with groups and also covers topics such as how people learn so you can help them, working with disabled people, working with challenging behaviour. Ideal for independant Youth Circus practitioners
