Four years on, the Circus healthcheck publication summarises the health of the sector and explores the issues affecting circus arts in England. Later this year, we plan to publish a strategy for circus responding to the issues raised in this paper, drawn from informal consultation with artists, promoters, producers and Arts Council officers throughout 2005/06."

The book includes a discussion on Intellectual property with some interesting comments from the circus industry and digresses into some interesting areas like the sacred hoop dance of the native americans.
