Venue-based Circus
In Europe you can find several permanent buildings dedicated to circus and related skills.
In the UK the Blackpool Tower Circus plays in a permanent building.
The Great Yarmouth Hippodrome Circus is Britain's only surviving purpose-built circus building (the ornately beautiful Blackpool Tower Circus being part of a larger entertainment complex). The Hippodrome has circus performances at Easter, during the Summer season, and at Christmas, and also opens for occasional 'specials'.
