CDA Supporters Scheme
SUPPORT THE WORK OF THE CDA TODAY – and make a real difference to the development of UK circus
There are a number of ways in which you can support CDA and we are calling on people who value our services to please assist us!
Did you know that the CDA has answered on average 2,340 queries [by phone or email] per annum throughout its lifetime from artists, the public, youth circus members, or the press?
CDA is a registered charity and provides its services (website, newsletter and answering phone and e-mail queries) free of charge. It costs around £15,000 per annum to run the organisation and we need to find ways to raise these funds.

In a recent survey of UK circus artist 71% stated that it was vital to have an advocacy organisation for circus
At the moment CDA exists solely on donations so your contribution will make an immediate difference -send us a cheque today to show us that you value the work that we do.
Suggested Annual Donation Levels
- £25 would be a good level for an individual artist (we will list your name on our website as a supporter if you like!)
- £100 + is our corporate level and donors at or above this level are able to put our official supporters logo on their publicity (and be listed on the website)
- £400 a donation at this level gives you use of the logo and an advert on our website
- £750 means that you can be the main sponsor of one our regional events £1,500 donate at this level and be the main sponsor of the newsletter (this gets sent to over 2,000 people each time)
- £2,500 would enable you to be the main sponsor of a national CDA event
- £4,000 donate at this level and you could become the main website sponsor
If you are a tax payer (either self employed or PAYE) for every £1 you personally donate CDA can claim back 28p as an additional ‘gift’ from HMRC by filling in the gift aid form below. If you donate through a company then you could be eligible for a reduction in corporation tax as CDA is a registered charity.
