CIRCUS DEVELOPMENT AGENCY ANNUAL MEET-UP THURSDAY 6TH MAY 2010 in London

The CDA invites you to attend the Annual Circus Meet-Up, which is aimed at artists, producers, venues, funders and anyone with a professional interest in circus.

This year this as hopefully you will be aware will take place in the Studio Theatre at the Roundhouse in London on Thursday 6th May 2010 from 2-5pm. This is an informal catch up which enables those working in and with the circus arts field to discuss current issues and share exciting news and developments, though a facilitated session with presentations and also networking time. There is no charge for attendance.

Maggie Clarke will talk about Zircus Plus the outdoor contemporary circus festival taking place in Barrow in Furness from 4 – 6 June 2010
Annabelle Holland will share her experiences of being selected for this years Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe
Leila Jones will outline the work she has been undertaking on the development of circus through initiatives at The Roundhouse
Verena Cornwall will let you all know more about the European funded ‘Street Arts and Circus Roadshows’ that CDA has planned for 2011

A big thank you to Leila from the Roundhouse Circusfest for use of the space. The Roundhouse has also kindly offered discounted tickets for performances taking place that evening for people attending the CDA Meet-Up.
