Illusions of Reference is the third and final show from Psychological Art Circus. It is as different from our second show Human Document as that was from our first, Anna.
Illusions of Reference is a curious hybrid that begins with an intimate one-at-a-time live/digital installation by Dagmara Bilon and is followed by a large-scale act of surrealistic storytelling featuring real-time animated digital sceneography by Jaime Valtierra & Prasanth Visweswaran, and a live appearance by Human Document star Andrea Meneses Guerrero.
Taking its inspiration from the enigma of the ancient Oracle at Delphi and starring an original London Routemaster double-decker bus, Illusions of Reference is a strangely original journey made by a company with the reputation for being "Self-reflexive and bizarre, seemingly unconcerned with the regular aesthetic effects of aerial work" [sideshow-circusmagazine.com]
