An extraordinary opportunity to work with Director Nigel Jamieson in a two day workshop designed for directors, choreographers, designers, physical performers and media artists interested in exploring the dynamics of live interdisciplinary performance.

Nigel Jamieson is acclaimed for creating the most compelling and eloquent physically expressive theatre of the last 10-15 years. Founder of the International Workshop Festival in London, he directed the 1st London Festival of Circus, he was Artistic Director of Trickster Theatre and an Associate Director at the Royal National Theatre before moving to Australia in the 1990’s where he has become one of the leading voices in contemporary Australian performance. He has worked with Legs On the Wall, Company B, Sydney Theatre Company, Sydney Opera House, Australian opera and other renowned artists such as Designers Julian Crouch and Dan Pottra. His multi-award winning production Honour Bound, made in collaboration with Choreographer Garry Stewart (Australian Dance Theatre), was presented at the Barbican as part of BITE 2007, after his hugely successful British tours of Theft of Sita and All Of Me.

He has also created numerous productions in public spaces and on buildings and was an artistic director on ceremonies with the Sydney Olympics, Manchester Commonwealth Games and Liverpool 08.
